Hi there!  I am Ash, the writer behind EminaReviews.  I started this blog back in 2015, right after finishing up my sophomore year of high school.  Back then, openly talking about anime often earned you strange looks, so this became my little corner of the internet to share my thoughts and connect with others who understood!  I continued writing off and on through college, and now here I am in my mid-20s, signing back on again.

I started this blog to share my take on anime, hence the name–anime backwards reviews.  Over the years, I’ve written off and on, sometimes consistently, sometimes not at all.  My drafts pile up, my grammar isn’t always perfect, and my taste leans towards the overly talked about shows (with the occasional shounen ai manga thrown in).  But that’s what makes it fun–this blog has always been about expressing my perspective, even if I’m the only one who ends up reading it.

Now I’m 25, working as an insurance claims adjuster and pursuing my second bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.  Life is definitely busier than it was back in high school, but anime remains a constant source of joy for me–something to look forward to after a long day and a reminder of why I started writing here in the first place.
